We invite you to participate as a sponsor of the SIMBIO-M [1] conference which will be held on 19th and 20th June 2024 in Huntington, near the picturesque town of Cambridge [2], UK, at the Cellbond [3] Headquarters. The conference will bring international participants, ranging from young researchers to industrial end-users, from numerical analysts to software developers, and from research funding organisations to medical specialists.
This is a great opportunity to present your company and products, make new contacts, and develop new businesses.
This conference takes place every two years. This year, it is organised by Coventry University with the support of the Université Gustave Eiffel, and the University of Hull. Endorsed by the European Society of Biomechanics [4], its objective is to share and explore findings on numerical analysis techniques and mathematical modelling tools in various fields of Biosciences and Multiphysics, notably in the areas of BioMechanics, BioMaterials, and BioMedicine. While the conference will concentrate mainly on the developments and applications of biomedical models, novel simulation techniques (such as stochastic modelling, optimisation based model identification solutions, and machine learning techniques for artificial intelligence implementations), it will also promote the state of the art in bio-sciences and bio-technologies.
The first edition of the SIMBIO-M conference (Juan-les-Pins, France, 2009) gathered 120 registrations, all of which were highly satisfied by the organisation and by the topics treated. 97% of the attendees said they would recommend the event to colleagues. Participants came from France, USA, UK, Canada, China, Korea, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium and Iran. SIMBIO-M was then held in Marseille (2011, 2014), Paris (2016), Stratford-Upon-Avon (2018), Torino (2020) and Marseille (2022), going from strength to strength, developing strong industrial connections and relationships with participants during the conference. SIMBIO-M conference proceedings and video recordings [5] are available on the SIMBIO-M website.
